GOAL



WEIO is the first and only Organization having directly promoted - with the support of FIEI, The Federation of Italian Exporters and Importers - an analytical research of export-import operators in every independent State (193) and related Departments, Territories and Dependencies overseas as well as Special Administrative Regions (261 international markets totally).

This monitoring activity is carried on year by year, State by State including those countries which do not have an organized and specialized system to register export-import national companies  or Trade Associations.

Through this activity, WEIO is able to define the highest "criteria" which technically and objectively qualify, on a worldwide basis, the "status" of a company as a real:

  • exporter

  • importer

  • exporter & importer

  • international company

  • global company

WEIO will take care of the organization of technical conferences devoted to developing world standard "rules and regulations" for a correct identification and classification of any company engaged in foreign trade, internationalization, globalization and auxiliary  related activities.

WEIO will act as a "REFERENCE POINT" especially before the following Multilateral Organizations:

  • ITC - International Trade Centre (UNCTAD/ WTO) in Geneva

  • UNCTAD - U.N. Conference on Trade and Development in Geneva

  • WIPO - World Intellectual Property Organization of the United Nations in Geneva

  • ITU - International Telecommunication Union of the United Nations in Geneva

  • ILO - International Labour Organization of the UN in Geneva

  • IMO - International Maritime Organization of the UN in London

  • FAO - Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN in Rome

  • IFAD - International Fund for Agriculture Development of the UN in Rome

  • WFP - World Food Programme of the UN in Rome

  • WFC - World Food Council of the UN in Rome

  • ICAO - International Civil Aviation Organization of the United Nations in Montreal
